Military Targets In Sar Image Information Management System Designed To Achieve

It is an inevitable trend to organize and manage enormous remote sensing image datum with a powerful Database management system. After analyzing the demand for data management for "Military Object Management Information System of SAR Image (MOMISSI)", and selected Oracle database management system as the platform of the MOMISSI, the thesis discussed the organization and management of the military object data. The system prototype was designed and implemented The basic theory and techniques for content-based image retrieval were applied and practiced based on common visual characteristic in the MOMISSI.The work that has been carried out is as follows:1. After analyzed the demand for the MOMISSI data management and compared the capability of several common Database Management systems, this thesis adopted Oracle database Management System as the platform of the MOMISSI. Then it introduced the characteristic, performance, structure of the Oracle Database Management System, etc.2. The organization and management for military object data was discussed, especially for the model of image data, vector data, DEM data, etc. At the same time the thesis compared the advantages and disadvantages of these data model.3. This thesis put forward the designing goal of the MOMISSI and carried it out after introducing the general design method based on database application system.4. Based on the technology of developing application system with Oracle database, the interface groupware based on OCKOracle Call Interface) was developed which can exchange data tram Oracle database. The basic function of data management can be carried out by the system prototype.5. The basic theory and method of the context based image retrieval (CBIR) were expatiated. The common visual characteristic for texture, shape and so on, was used to retrieval image in the MOMISSI.
