The Research Of Image Data Manage Mode Based On Color Features

In the world of software, the thinking and technology of object-oriented has infiltrated into many fields such as software design, application and engineering fields. Although the relational database management system (RDBMS) including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Informix has occupied a absolute share in the market, it does not belong to the object-oriented field. When we take the relational database as the data storage way and use the object-oriented program design method in software development, there is a serious impedance mismatch between them for the complete difference between the rational concept and object-oriented concept. In order to solve this problem, the database technology is integrated with the object-oriented technology naturally, which makes the object-oriented technology infiltrate into all layers of database system.This article is based on the analysis of theses from 19 kind of important periodicals in image engineering research field since 1995. After the classification, reorganization and statistics on research results in image retrieval system, image database model and retrieval technology based on color features, we set about to solve the problems including the storage format of color feature, storage requirement for the data in image retrieval and data model in image retrieval based on color feature. The main content includes as follows:Firstly, the experiments have been done to validate the public production on the object-oriented environment.Secondly, the distilling algorithm has been researched to reduce the dimensions of eigenvalue and to improve the efficiency of retrieval with the management thinking of "memory layer", which has taken color feature as eigenvalue integrated with other image features simultaneously. As a result, a storage method with a variable integer array is taken under the condition of the different count of eigenvalue resulted from the different algorithm.
