In this paper, a design project of hardware and software of LLP12 fire control computer system Radar Interface Tester & Simulator based on general computer platform is introduced.Under the conditions of disconnecting radar, this unit can simulate the data transmitting & processing between Fire Control Computer and the radar, and verifies the correctness of the interface. It can not only simulate the data and the information from the radar system to Fire Control Computer, but also display and test the interface signal from Fire Control Computer to the radar in real-time. This unit has conquered the problem of teaching, research and experiment of fire control system in two-in-one fire control computer system.In this project, I advance and realize the simulation of Fire Control Computer exterior working environment with a lot of technology and by using general computer as platform and using C-H-builder and Access2000 as environment, have triumphantly resolved the simulation problem of exterior environment of two-in-one fire control system. I designed and produced the special circuit board. In design of the data sampling board, two level buffer are used to resolve the reliance between the simulator time sequence and the equipment time sequence. In design of the A/D conversion board, data bus is used to act as the channel choice signal, and used I/O address encoding signal to control conversion process, and sampling-holding conversion circuit is designed , in order to simplify the design of software and increase automatization degree of A/D conversion board. In design of the S/D conversion board, by skillfully using hardware technology, the synchronization of conversed data was realized, and the sampling requirement is decreased, conversion precision is improved. In design of the D/S conversion board, EPROM is used to act as sine and cosine function generator in order that the spending of software is deduced and the conversion time is shortened, and the cost is greatly reduced. I designed and compiled the software of simulator operation subsystem. In design of software, I pay attention to the reality of primary operation interface, and design a lot of data display mode in order to enhance data abservability.
