Software Radio Research And Realization Of The Digital Down Converter

With Software Radio (SR) technique coming forth, Multicarrier and Multimode digital communication based on wireless communication becomes probability. SR becomes a very important and key technique with a modern wireless communication developing.This paper discusses digital up convert and digital down convert system used in data high-speed mobile wireless communication system for the safety monitoring on railway which uses SR as key technique. The paper include the principle of digital up convert and digital down convert, the scheme, research, design of the experimental hardware and software platform. The last part gives the test results of digital up convert and digital down convert system, produced by the experimental platform. From these results, we can see clearly that the system is effective, and suitable for real-time signal processing. The paper also describes the main chips AD6623 and AD6624, which make up of the system.
