The fast development of Microwave communication, Radar system and other technology raise excelsior requirement to the signal processing devices: not only intend the high performance and reliability, but also hope for the ability of processing analog signal directly in microwave frequency, together with the small volume and light weight. The proposal of the subject of magneto-static surface wave band-pass filter study is just adapted to the development. The magneto-static waves devices are the unique broadband devices that can process signal directly in microwave frequency. The advantages of magneto-static waves devices are as follows: high operating frequency, low highfrequency loss, small device volume, convenience of broadband electric tuning and the compatibility with MMIC devices.The research of the dissertation puts emphasis on creating and analyzing the modal of fundamental structure of MSSW devices and the designing of electric tuning MSSW filter, employ the formulation of theory analysis together with manufacture of actual devices. Firstly, creating theoretical modal basing on MSSW fundamental theory, analyzing dispersion characteristic, solving radiation resistance of micro-strip transducer and simulating relations of radiation resistance, various parameters and frequency and calculating and simulating MSSW anisotropy transmission and device loss, by the medium of said designing modal of transducer has been created and that providing theoretical evidence for the practical designing. Secondly, realizing the center frequency tuning from 3.5GHz to 6GHz by designing three magnetic field structure. Thirdly, simulating the device entirety with the high frequency electromagnet structure simulation software HFSS 9.0. Lastly, testing the devices of practical manufacture and the results conform with theoretical designing, that proving the designing is correct. MSSW band-pass filter can become a part of channel bank filters through using single magnetic field to control the center frequency. Applied in military, it can simplify complete machine system and fulfill military urgent demand.
