Mobile Agent In Corba Applications

Today, both CORBA and mobile Agent are research hotspot in the field of distributed computing technology. CORBA is a maturate specification and it is used widely. Mobile Agent is excellent for its mobility, autonomy, dynamical adaptation and intelligence. Put the advantage of mobile Agent into CORBA architecture will enhance CORBA object's mobility and flexibilityThis paper does some research in an architecture combining CORBA and mobile Agent, and construct a CORBA object which has some characteristic of mobile Agent. This object can move from one host on the network to another while it can serve CORBA client as well as a normal server.This paper then uses the system in CORBAbased load balancing. It develops a model and applies it to the implement of load balancing. This prototype can be implemented and transplanted easily, and it makes the CORBA based load balancing system more adaptive.
