Based On Web Services Network Experimental Simulation Platform

In recent ten years, computer network develops rapidly. Network exists everywhere in society. Computer network is a course which need students to practice more. Experiment is especially important for students to master theory and cultivate the ability of practice. Developing the platform of network' s experimental simulation is an effective method to solve the problem of that network' s device is expensive and there is a lack of experimental outlay.Presently, the software of simulating network' s experiment has been developed all have characteristics, such as singular function, bad flexibility, difficult updating and maintenance, poor expansibility, etc. According to actual research status, this paper present the model of the platform' s architecture of simulating network' s experiment based the technology of Web Services. As an object/module, Web Services has characteristics such as excellent encapsulation, incompact coupling, high-integration and so on. This platform adopts the technology of Web Services, and inside module and every experiment are implemented by Web Services. Thus it greatly enhance the platform' s flexibility, strengthen expansibility and maintainability. The platform also presents the search function of the experimental results and the evaluating function of experiments, which cater to the teaching demand.
