With the full development of data communication, DDN service of Jiaozuo develops comparatively fast. There are two alone DDN networks in Jiaozuo under the leadership of the communication head office of Henan Province.One network is AS200 made by JNA Company of Australia.The other is NP180 made by Xingtang Company of Beijing (the former data communication institute of Beijing).The problems of the networks are very serious in recent years. The equipment is unstable to run.The trouble of nodes is frequent and trouble clearing time is relatively long especially in JNA network bringing the serious negative effect to users.The present communication market competition is fiercer and fiercer,group customers are the focus of fighting for the traders running communication equipment.The big customer mainly develops the business by ways of DDN. In order to offer good service to group customers and guarantee the normal running of the network,the communication head office of Henan Province determines to transfer JNA network to others for ten group customers.First of all,I introduce the general situation of Jiaozuo data communication network.Based on the current situation of communication network and from the technological angle,I explain various kinds of new technologies such as analogue communication,X.25,frame relay,ATM,MPLS-VPN,IP,etc.I explain the reason why DDN still exists in particularity and certainty. Then I discuss the potential development prospect of the DDN business of Jiaozuo from the market angle. I draw the following conclusion:DDN is still the best choice for group customers and the customers who require the service of large amounts of information and high transmitting quality.I discuss and compare such DDN products as new bridge (Newbridge 3600 series), DSC of U.S.A, Taiwan Association 3600, and MP 9400 made by Maipu electric Ltd Company of Sichuan. Synthetically considering from the price of the products, performance,the ratio of performance to price,the compatibility with JNA node and after-sale service,we determine to set up Maipu DDN network.The network is designed rationally during engineering design according to transferring and market potential needs.The network structure is clear and rational in network organization by means of a pair of two stars structure.The assemble node separates from service node.In order to guarantee DDN network synchronism, It adopts the way of the master-slave with backup clock.When the master clock breaks down,the network management board module of equipment will be changed to a reserve clock of source automatically.It adopts the way of in-band management to control the network to save resources. In this way the transmission net for management information consists of DDN itself and multiple MP 9400 nodes. The management network is based on PCM.I illustrate a lot about configuration function,performance management, trouble shooting management, security management, and account function on the network management.At last from the angle of the market, I point out the defects of the DDN and the way it will develop.After hard work Jiaozuo has successfully set up the DDN network of Maipu. It provides a better foundation for the development of DDN in Jiaozuo.
