Group Intelligent Decision Support Systems In The Data Warehouse System Design

With the rapid development and extensively applying of network and database technology, information society is coming. Due to keen competition and changeable market, managers at all levels need make decisions based on a large amount of information. The requirement of decision is changed from schema decision based on model combination to the combination of schema decision and analysis decision based on data. Data Warehouse System (DWS), as the core part of data-driven decision support system, is one kind of solution based on data analysis.Firstly, the present of research and application, and the existing problem are introduced. On the basis of analyzing the theory of DWS and its relation with Group Intelligent Decision Support System (GIDSS), we propose its Hierarchy Model applying the General System Theory. Also, through probing into data interface and running criterion of DWS, we give the architecture of data warehouse system in GIDSS. Then, on the basis of requirement analysis, the end user-oriented realization function structure of DWS and the OLAP system, which can be customized by end user, are given. In the end, we focus on applying DWS hierarchy model and technology structure of DWS on the condition of group decision through the empirical case of the PICC Hunan Branch.
