Specific Areas Of Software Architecture In The Insurance Industry Software Applications

Domain Engineering is one form of software re-use technique, which analyses and induces common characters in a certain domain, and abstracts a domain model from domain common requires and functions. Guided by domain model, Domain Specific Software Architecture is produced. DSSA is adapted to the requirements of several systems in the domain which can guide another similar system's designing and developing, Meanwhile, it contains the components and interacting rule among them. DSSA provides the framework and materials for domain software and it can improve the efficiency and flexibility of developing system.Focused on the insurance domain software architecture and model, this thesis analyses the shortcoming of insurance software nowadays, clarifies the requiring particularity of insurance software, put forward to the idea that inducing the domain engineering to the insurance software and builds the DSSA and component-warehouse. In addition, this paper researches the architecture, inner mechanism and applying advantage of J2EE, the new enterprise distributed developing flat, and illustrating J2EE's application in the insurance architecture.This paper begins with the 3-tier and multi-tier constrcture of J2EE, explaining the importance of component technology in J2EE and advantage in the DSSA. Secondly, it analyses the situation and future of Chinese insurance information construction, exhibiting the methods how the domain engineering and DSSA can be used in insurance domain. Thirdly, it clarifies the J2EE application in insurance software with the instance of two system building, emphasizing the center rule of architecture, designing business component with oriented-object concept and mapping between object and relation DBMS. Last, it summarizes the research results and analyzes the functions to be improved.
