This paper introduces the cause of CW radar's transmit leakage and the effects on radar ' operation and illustrate several means to restrain the leakage. Interrupted CW radar is the way using change the radar transmit signal to solve the transmit leakage problem. Frequency modulated interrupted continuous wave(FMICW) is chosen as the emphasis of this paper.Based on the characteristic of FMICW signal,this paper uses the radar signal analysis tool to deduce the ambiguity function (AF) of FMICW and draw it's Zero-AF figure.At the same time,we compare the AF of random interrupted pulse with that of determinate interrupted pulse and design the parameters of determinate interrupted pulse FMICW signal to gain it's AF with zero noise floor in the all detected range.During the course of FMICW signal process,we put forward the rules of choosing the parameters and get the simulative result using general two-demesion FFT.Current 2D-FFT sianal process is also improved here.Finally a method inintroduced of correlation operation suited to detect high-speed targets on sea.
