Polarization Information And Variable Polarization Technology

Based on the fundamentals of the Polarization Technology, the paper analyzes the polarization matching relation between receiving antennae and incident wave and discusses the optimization of echo power receiving. Using the software Matlab, the paper makes a study of the simulation figures about the polarization-scattering characters of the typical detect targets. As for polarization filters, the important component of the polarization switchable Receive-Transmit(RT) system, the paper researches into the polarization filters from such aspects as polarization loss, filtering errors and amelioration of Signal Interference Ratio. According to the theoretical reasoning and the simulation figures by Matlab, it proves a certain non-linear polarization filter possesses the good performance of polarization filtering. Through the discussion about the polarization identification of target echo and the research of the polarization switchable receiving module and the polarization switchable transmitting module, combined with what has been discussed and researched in the previous chapters, the last chapter of the paper presents a realizable project of the anti-jamming polarization switchable RT system for the microwave-short-range-detect.
