With the expending growth of wireless communications, especially the coming 3G system, the multi-standard of radio receiver becomes inevitable.Based on the requirement of multi-standard, high integration and low power, a new dual-standard IF digital software radio receiver architecture targeting GSM/WCDMA standard is proposed. The analog front-end design for this receiver is analyzed in details.Firstly the principles for radio receiver system design is discussed, the relations between these parameters and results in engineering are gained. The system design for this receiver is explanation of the methodologies used to calculate the specifications for each block, such as NF, G, IP3, DR. System design simulation used to verify the specifications calculated forward by System View. ADC circuit is also discussed of its architecture and specifications, specifications of ADC is calculated for this receiver, such as quantization noise, DR and jitter time., it proved that ADC have effect on whole receiver system.Finally, the realization of the receiver is discussed, include every block circuit , the modern new technology can apply to the radio receiver system. |
