Ejb-based J2ee Technical Studies

Nowadays, Web technology has a wide application on Internet, which supports real-time information publication, dynamical user interaction and the flexible, secure connection to the background system. Accordingly the hottest point of Internet technology discussed recently is that how to build such a Web application with the characteristic on more powerful function, more flexible application and more simple software development. The key to solve the problem mentioned above has some relation to website technology and development method. Web technology improves the traditional enterprise application structure (C/S) to a kind of 3-layer structure, which is more suitable to net application. Enterprise-level application, which is based on 3-layer structure, has made great progress on dependability, scalability, maintainability and usability.In the paper the concept of J2EE and the groupwares in J2EE are introduced; software system architecture of enterprise application based on J2EE is brought forward; EJB technology and design mode are emphasized, which are the most important aspects of J2EE. Practical Web application design and development of a certain institute is taken as an example to introduce the overall process of realizing design mode programming, and the usability of the method taken in the example is validated. Finally the trend of development on the software system of enterprise application and the direction of development of J2EE technology is discussed.
