The objectivity and tendentiousness of news is the basic theoretical problem of the news idea and also the news service problem about the reporting principle and reporting means. The connotation of the tendentiousness of news is a widely controversial issue. In my opinion, The connotation of the tendentiousness of news consists of three aspects: namely the tendentiousness of the news facts, the tendentiousness of the media and the journalists, the tendentiousness of the audience. The tendentiousness of the news facts refers to the tendentiousness of the facts in which man is the subject and the facts which are full of contradictions. The tendentiousness of the news faces is objective and will not change with man's will. The subjectivity of the journalists is the main reason of the tendentiousness of the journalists. The journalists can express their tendentiousness by many ways, for example, they can express their tendentiousness by showing their stands, viewpoints and feelings about the facts in a direct way, they can also express their tendentiousness by choosing different facts or reporting the facts by different angles, they can also express their tendentiousness by showing their silence opinions with the objective tendentiousness of the facts. When expressing their tendentiousness, the journalists should respect the objectivity and accuracy of the facts and should protect the audiences' proper rights. The tendentiousness of the audiences refers to ?the audiences always search, choose and accept the news information according to their own need and subjective standards. The tendentiousness of the audiences is influenced by some factors, including the news information they receive, their educational levels, values, emotional feelings, experiences and the whole social circumstance.
