Heterogeneous Data Of The National Field Experiment Station Promotion And Information Dissemination System To Achieve

With the development of computer technology and the fast growth of database application, the databases using in an enterprise have been shifted from small-scale databases to large-scale ones like Oracle and SQL Server. However, considering the cost and the convenience, the information of an enterprise may probably be managed by different DBMS which leads to a heterogeneous state of information and isolated data. In order to make full use of the data resources, we must integrate heterogeneous data and standardize them. During the process the key problem is how to promote old data stored in two or above databases to new DBMS.In this paper we introduced a method of convert heterogeneous data into data under a certain DBMS. Based on it we described the method and architecture of heterogeneous data distribution. We use this method in the key national science and technology project, which aims at the standardization of national monitoring regulations and data collection for the outdoor testing institutions.
