EOS (Embedded Operating System) was emerged in 1980s. With the expansion of its application field and the increase of the demond, more attention was paid to the research of correlative technology and the developpment of the system. EOS have been used or will be used in many products, such as VxWorks, pSOSf Neculeus and Windows CE etc. Most of these business EOS have the same disadvantages. First, because most of these EOS are developped for business, the prices are very high. Second, most of their source codes are not open to the public, so the application software of each system are not compatible with others. This character results in a trouble, that is, the business embedded operating system have troubles in supporting some equipments and the transplannation for software are difficult. Therefore, the research on EOS with own property right is important. We research on ndinux and get the reconfigerationable EOS of own property right.Aimed at these problems, HDC-ReOS (HDC- Reconfigurable Embedded Operating System) was implemented in our research on dinux. This article made a summarization to the design of device dynamic module and works about the realization of IRL.A general discription of each part was given in this article.The realization of the device management, especially for the dynamic modules is presented. Discription of the course of realization of IRL was gived in detail.The idiographic works are the followings:First, background of the research was described and the significance of the research was pointed out. The domestic and foreign situation of EOS research was analyzed dynamically. On the basis of the deep research on EOS, development of each parts of the system was described, including: process schedule management, memory management and device management.Second, aimed at researching on advantages, disadvantages and the request on EOS, necessity of the research on EOS with own property right were described and the characters of device management were depicted. The developing idea of device management was analyzed particularly.Third, an introduction on IRL was made minutely. This introduction included the composing , the structure and the applications of IRL and the cnception of FPGA. Thenthe design and realization of dynamic modules based on IRL was described.Finally, all the results are summarized, and the study prospect is discussed.
