With the development of computer graphics and software technology, computer simulation is widely used to test the validation of new design concept in the fields, such as weapon system, process control. Simulation system transforms information data to easily acceptable scene, images and processes.Simulation technology plays an important role in air-combat simulation and weapons performance evaluations. Currently, 3-D air-combat fight software systems are not only more expensive, but also cannot satisfy the special need of engineering practice. Therefore, a 3-D air-combat fight simulation software is designed in this thesis.The works are mainly carried out as following aspects.(1) Based on the object-oriented technology, the relative movement of missile and target is analyzed. The model of 2-D and 3-D movement is built by the method of the class. The model encapsulates all the parameters and equations. It realizes the performance of reusage and expansion.(2) DirectX 9 game technology that Microsoft researched is applied to this simulation system. Accordingly, 3-D simulation with high fidelity is developed. It is completely driven by experiment data. Users can look at the circumstances from different viewpoints and positions, for the benefit of weapons performance evaluations.(3) Simulation environment is set up. Visual Studio.NET based on .NET framework is adopted. The environment includes statistics functions, curve analysis and database technology. On the one hand, as far as users are concerned, it has the good ability of interact. On the other hand, it can process and display fight data high efficiently.The works mentioned above have a great value in new technology research of weapons system.
