In the context of modern information service, the information demand of user became various and personalized. Different person has remarkably difference in personality. The basic character of industrialize society is large scale of production and service. With the degree of society information process speeding up, personalized production and service is popular. Comparing with standard production and service, personalized product and services well satisfy the person's demand and improve the quality of service. The cost of producing personalization production and personalization service is greatly reduced. Economic development result in the greatly demand of personlaziation service.In this background, the paper combines with the joint project and researches the key technology of personalization information service, namely Agent technology, metadata and personalization recommendation technology. Personalization information service technology make full use of the intelligence of agent, and decompose the information space by different person demand, which make the user close to the information object. Paper focuses on the modle of agent service and agent communication on the basis of the character of Agent. Metadata is profile. Paper researches user profile and resource profile. As for personalization recommendation technology, paper lucubrates the technology of based rule and information filtering. As a special media, Digital TV (DTV) program is different from traditional web page. There are same point and different point between the two objects. Paper proposes the personalization service architecture for digital TV. At the same time, paper implements the metadata presentation, feature abstraction and recommendation way, which are for digital TV.Paper focus on researching the traditional personalization information service technology and putting it use in the DTV personalization information service context. Furthermore, paper modifies some key algorithm according the digital TV program personalization service character.At last, paper gives the design of main Agent and the user interface.
