With the development of the computer science and network technology, many services based on internet technology come forth constantly. The services of traditional library can not satisfy the progressively requirements of users. Traditional library has to transform to digital library, but recently the emphases of constructing digital library was set on the digitalization of traditional resource and services , the feeling of user was ignored, which make the user could not find the information favorably.The appearance of the personalized information service technology improves the quality of searching engine service greatly. Personalized information service is a kind of service that can offer information contents and systematic functions that satisfy user's personalized demands based on information user's using behavior,habits,partiality,characteristic and specific demands. Under the environment of digital library user's information demands are more and more personalized. Personalized information represents the direction of the future information service. Creating personalized information service of the Digital Library has important strategic meaning.Through the analysis and research on digital library retrieval system , this article has discovered that in order to make users find the resources he need, we has to solve problem firstly the users how to discover, to organize, to describe, to retrieval and to use vast network information resource effectively.
