"Humanism" and "Humanitarian Care" are among the most popular terms on media now in China. "Humanism", thereupon, is a synonym of an attitude or a consciousness to delving in life, ( either individual or social) and serie of events as well. This very attitude or consciousness ,however, closely correlates with the spreading and practice featured by media , an integral part of cultural industry. This thesis not only does a brief survey into the profound changes pf media in China,but also analyses the humanism demonstrated in the changes since 1990s,the years of its opening up and its reforms and the further development in China.Upon the basis of a rough categorization of the humanism reflected since 1990s , the writer holds, after a brief survey, that, the profound impact has brought upon China's mass media by the setting up of the socialist marketing system with Chinese characteristics, which was resulted from the further development of the reform, especially, after Deng Xiaoping's Speech in his journey to the South and the Fourteenth Plennium of CCPC, With the marketing system at the initial stage on one hand, China had its mass media such as Televisions , newspapers, radios, internets, etc, encountered with the permeation of marketing economy, and great changes were thus took place. But what lay behind Lhese changes were of a deep humanism, to be more specific, it was the "Human -oriented" point of view about media, which sparkled a revolution of popularity in media and glowed humanitarian care and ration. This thesis analyses the reasons and significant of the above mentioned changes' meanwhile, it analyses the aspects to be improved in the process of construction and expansion of humanism.
