| This paper presents the principles,design,simulation and test results of a Ku-band three channel Receiver with the Noise figure of 4.5dBmax and the conversion gain of 30dBmin(IF amplifier included) over the 16~18GHz range.Its other major features include the image-rejection of 20dBmin and the total size of 40 X 60 X 20mm3(box included).This Ku-band three channel Receiver consists of SPST modules,LNA modules and image rejection mixer modules.These modules were designed and tested separately,then were assembled to the whole Receiver.All the circuits were designed with small-sized devices so as to reduce the total size of the Receiver.And the Noise figure was considerably reduced because of the image rejection mixer.Ansoft Serenade was used to design,optimize and simulate all the circuits and systems. And the tested results coincide with the simulated results greatly. |
