Establish Online Item Bank System Based On J2ee Architecture

In this paper I illustrate the design of on-line exam system based on J2EE architecture. The aim to build the on-line exam system is to share exam resource through networks and to take on-line exam.J2EE is a platform for constituting application program on server side. The architecture based on J2EE has multiple physical tiers: client tier, web tier, EJB tier, and database tier. The J2EE architecture also can be divided into logical layers: client layer, expressing layer, operation layer, integration layer, and information layer. Physical tiers correspond to the physical deployment of the system. Logical layers correspond to logical division according to function. Here, design of the on-line exam system is made from the foregoing multiple layers architecture. The emphasis is laid on EJB tier (operation layer and integration layer) and web tier (expressing layer).In the design of web tier and EJB tier, through analysis, proper design model of UML is chosen.
