Management Information System of University Enrolment on the Network (UENMIS) is developed on the demand of university enrolment on the network of Ministry of Education. UENMIS can also provide detailed information of different students and the comparison sequence of different items of their abilities.This software is structured properly and clearly. Executable files can be generated and can be executed detached from database enrolment. Icon technology, hierarchical menus and windows are adopted. The reliability of execution and simplicity of operation can be obtained. Man-machine interfaces are also on good terms. This software is highly practical and secure since it has solved the problem of man-machine maladjustment. This item has been demonstrated by technology connoisseurs of Provincial Science and Technology Office.This thesis focuses on the development of NMIS by discussing the development and realization of UENMIS and by reviewing the technology and development of NMIS. Some fresh perspectives have been explored in the field of design, construction, development and management of NMIS. At the end of this thesis, the author also puts forward his viewpoints on the development and evaluation of NMIS.
