The research and development of networked instrument is a item related to the development of our subject. This thesis includes three aspects of research and implement: the networked technology of NCEXl.O-based intelligent instrument, the construction of ethernet-based automated measurement system, the research of the real ime property and determinacy of Ethernet.The networked technology of NCEXl.O-based intelligent instrument: design an Ethernet test board, which named NCEX1.0, with INTEL 386EX. Realize an embedded TCP/IP protocol stack run on this board. Design a UDP client terminal to realize the communications between the NCEX1.0 test board and several computers. Link intelligent instrument to NCEX1.0 through RS232.Design client program to control intelligent instrument and gain data from intelligent instrument.The Construction of Ethernet-based Automated Measurement System: Ethernet links the NCEX1.0 to the hub in LAN. A intelligent instrument is linked to a board. So multi-instruments are linked to multi-boards in LAN. Design the main controller program to control multi-instruments and gain data from them.Process and display the data. Optimize the ATS. I do automated measurement experiments to test Freq.Response.The success of these experiments have a greater significance which lies in creat. It also marks a milestone in our striking toward the goal of the practicality of the networked testing theory.The research of the real ime property and determinacy of Ethernet:analyse the advantage and disadvantage of Ethernet used in test field;expound the means of improving the real time property and determinacy of Ethernet in several aspects.The achievement of the task can be widely applied in the modern intellectual test and control field. It represents the total openness of Ethernet fieldbus, and reaches the goal of higher testing level, lower cost, and higher efficiency.
