The research and realization on the objects spatial database with network environment are the need to the digital management and application of objects. Combining with the projects, this paper studies the theories and the technique of object spatial database with net environment. The main contents of this article are listed as following:1. The object spatial database stores the small-scale 2D object graph, object attribute data and multi-media data, large-scale object 3D data and so on. The data model is the core of the database system, base of data storage and the key of data management shortcoming. The article brings forward to the model of object-oriented object spatial data model(OOSDM) and implement the whole-body storage of multi-sources data in the database.2. The 2D spatial data in the object spatial database has such attributes as large capacity and complex structure. The implementation of spatial index technique is the key of efficient object spatial database management. It is introduced two spatial index techniques based on the database in this article, furthermore, brings forward to the method combining the "element-delamination index", "gridding index", and "LOD technique", manage to meet the requests of spatial data transmission on the network and data storage view.3. In the spatial database the 3D data and the multi-media data are characterized with conformity and large-capacity, which bring difficulty to the network transmission limited by the bandwidth. Based upon the searching of network transmission technique, the article brings forward to the method of network transmission based on the apperceive model, implements the network transmission of the object spatial data applying the data compress and client server alleviation.4. Combining the above researches, the object spatial database application system with the network environment is designed and developed using software engineering technology.
