Broadband wireless data transmission is prospering today. Because of the badness of the wireless channel FEC is usually used for wireless transmission. At 1993, Turbo code was brought forward by C.Berrou, A.Glaxieux and P.Thitimasjshima in Proc. ICC'93. Due to its excellent performance Turbo code was proposed for the channel coding in IMT200 and other wireless communication systems. In this paper, deep research is made on some crucial aspects of Turbo code, including encoder, interleaver, decoder, etc. After the review and summarize of the achievement of previous researchers, further improvement which is named revising-SOVA was brought forward aiming at the SOVA algorithm of Turbo code. The advantage was proved by the result of computer simulation. On the following combining with one of the main jobs of this paper, design and realization of broadband wireless data transmission system, detailed analysis and optimizing was made about the realization on the fixed-point DSP of Turbo code. The result of the experiment indicates the usability of this method. |
