| With the vigorous development of computer network, how to take a intelligent and highly efficient management on computer network has become one of the very important researches in network techniques. In China, there are many middle or small enterprises that usually has a relevant-scope computer network to be managed. How to develop out a network management system that has some intelligence and meet their needs is just our research orientation. Besides, we also analyzed some defaults of previous network management system and put forward new solutions, that is user-based network management solving project.We have realized good management and monitor on the middle or small computer network with the packet filtering function of NDIS intermediate Drivers, the network communication function of Winsock2 and WINSNMP API and taken substitute for proxy with non-agent mode.At the front four paragraphs. This thesis talks about three techniques and one encrypt algorithm (DES):(l)the concepts of Sockets and Windows Sockets, the steps of programming with Windows Sockets and related API functions.(2) the development steps of NDIS intermediate Drivers and how to filer the network packets with it.(3)the concepts of simple network management protocol and WinSNMP API. the steps of programming with WinSNMP API and some difficulty, which be easily met.(4) the encrypt and decrypt steps of Data Encryption Standard.Lastly, in the sixth paragraph, this thesis analyzed and explained the design, function modules, techniqxies be used, main uses of user-based network management system for middle or small enterprise. Moreover, this thesis also narrated the implementation of each function module in detail in the seventh paragraph. Network management system is huge and complicated, while realizing it. we only deal with the user management, charge-counting management and network monitor which are very important to the enterprises. |
