Research And Implementation Of PDA Line Works Through Communication Protocol

PDA Telecom Affair Transaction (PTAT) is the new terminal system, which integrates PDA, short message, telecommunication and embeded technology together. And, it makes its users more conveniently to realize their telephone talk or access their messages via PSTN by the PTAT.The paper first introduces the structural character of embedded system and discusses the development trend of embedded system in the future.Then the paper lay a strong emphasis on the problem how to realize PTAT's communication with distance server. Utilizing the relevant knowledge of the computer network procotol and key technology among them, we define the communication protocol for PTAT. Besides, we explain the message format and the transmission mode. Based on the real requirement of the project, we have put forward our own view on the error and time-out mechanism while taking into account the character of embeded system and the quality of transmission.Later, the paper discusses the thought on the communication of protocol, which is based on the uClinux operating system. We study emphatically on the key technology of how to realize information mutually in the course of communicating among each module. And we find the corresponding solution. With this, we carry out the whole protcol successfully to meet the end user's demands.At last, the paper make a prospect of the PSTN short message system, and has proposed my own development imagination.
