When the Internet as the role of media starts into the media environment,the new medium are showing the full of overbearing on one hand,on the other hand the traditional medium are fearful that their position will be taken place by the new one.The situation of the media environment after the short-term vibration states clearly that the traditional media joins with the net like a tiger that has grown wings,while the net one have to cope with too many problems.This unbalance enormously come from the weak links in editing of net media,showing in the ways of the rough contents,the lacks of the creative scheme make them have to pick up the one that the traditional media abandoned.The function of network indicate the uncertain direction.The editors of network take the superior in technological field.This paper raises that we should strengthen the links of network editing as the situation mentions above,and states respectively the improvements on the process,the contents and the editors in net-work editing.At the end of this paper some laws of net-work editing have been discussed,aiming at strengthening the consciousness of net-wok editors,which is the same focus on the editing and is the master of the lively soul of net-work publishing.At first this paper defines the net-work as the "post-media",separates finely the network publishing from the network communication,and states some features of the network publishing in form.The new features of network editing will be concluded by the comparison of the process in network editing and the traditional one,such as the following are,the exchanging from plane editing to stereoscopic one,from monomedia editing to multimedia conglomeration one,from linear editing to nonlineaar one.The contents of editing consists of the contents,the forms of function and the forms of decoration.The titles editing in contents especially metioned should consult the news titles,flash should use the methods of movie editing as the important ways of multimedia.At the part of forms of function introduces the edit characteristics of hyperlink and form.At the part of forms of decoration explains developing caption and HTML,and so on.The exchanges of the main body of editing show the ways in the new role and the new consciousness of editor due to the features of the main body of network editing.In order to give the expression to the location of the new role,this paper raises the role of editors in one body of three positions which consists of information filter,information agent and information service.This role demands that the editors not only edit the characters and codes as the expressive forms of the world,but also edit all the cultural information enviroment based on the actuating medium,communicators,receivers and information itself,under the guide of which the honesty,brand,receiver and safety bacome the new conscious of the network editing.The purpose of analysing the network editing objectivity is to probe some laws of editing in the environment of network editing,this paper gives some thoughts on the image,the relations of image and reality and the relations of net media effects and medium efficiencies as the limitations of theory.Webelieve that the meaning of image is to stimulate the creativity,the experienced anchor of editors is the root with the network wisdom.
