In the middle of 1980's, Professor Chen Shennian put forward the Field Theory of Network(FTN). The explanation of field theory takes two independent equations in integral form derived from Maxwell equations as basic law of circuit theory. Beginning with two independent equations, FTN analyzed the linear DC and AC networks, nonlinear networks and many kinds of circuit analyzing methods and so on. However, the circuit theory of the field theory is about lumped parameter circuit, but it hasn't studied distributed parameter circuit. The paper is concentrated on the new content-the transmission line theory that the field theory has still not involved. The paper gives a strict prove to the transmission line theory including mutual inductance and approves that the two integral forms of independent equations is not only applicable for lumped parameter circuits, but also for distributed parameter circuits. During deducing the transmission line equation including mutual inductance, can receives relationship between parameters of unit length four lumped components of transmission line and transmission line material. The paper contains four chapters and includes two parts. The first part includes the first chapter and the second chapter. It reviews the fundamental of the transmission line theory of the field theory and its two traditional deducing methods. The second part consists of the third chapter and the fourth chapter. It deduces the transmission line theory in terms of the field theory. The third chapter firstly deduces the transmission line equation in terms of the field theory. The transmission line equation is the basic equation of the transmission line theory and is an important equation from lumped parameter circuit to distributed parameter circuit in the circuit theory. The fourth chapter more consummates the transmission line theory of the field theory.
