With the rapid development of electronic engineering technology, the equipments in the practical engineering are constantly developing towards the direction of high integration.Consequently, the problems caused by signal transmission process become an important reason for the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)of the system.Nonuniform transmission line is the basic form of interconnection lines in high speed circuit and microwave system. The crosstalk caused by them is one of the most serious electromagnetic interference(EMI).Therefore, this paper takes the nonuniform lossy transmission line as analytical model, and mainly solves the problem of parameter extraction and time domain crosstalk based on multiconductor transmission line(MTL)theory. The main contents include:1.The basic theory of multiconductor transmission line has been described, including the type of nonuniform transmission line and electromagnetic characteristics of anisotropic medium.Besides, the distributed parameter extraction method and finite difference time domain(FDTD)method also have been introduced.2.A new algorithm of inductance parameter extraction method for nonuniform transmission line in anisotropic media has been introduced. And the new method has been applied to several models. The validity and accuracy of the algorithm can be verified by numerical calculation.3.A new method using conformal technique of finite difference method is proposed to capacitance extraction. This method can solve the problem of discontinuous effects of inhomogeneous cells in cross media. The validity and accuracy of the method can be verified by numerical calculation.4.The FDTD method has been used to analyze the crosstalk of nonuniform lossy double transmission line model. The different length lines and termination conditions have been simulated. The crosstalk rules of nonuniform lossy transmission lines in near and far end can be concluded by the simulation results.
