With the increase of vehicle consumption in recent years, vehicle positioning and theft-against technology has become a great demand of the market. The development of GPS (Global Position System) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) technology provides the possibility of further intelligentize to the vehicle positioning and theft-against. Based on DSP technology, this article discusses the vehicle positioning and theft-against system using GPS and GSM technology to achieve the combination of the functions of vehicle navigation and theft-against.This thesis first introduces the structure and function with a view to the overall system, meanwhile a brief instruction will be given on the theories involved in the research of this system, and the selection, use, development tool and environment of the DSP controller are specially analyzed in detail.The hardware and software technology for GPS receiver?uPatch02 and GSM receiverę”¾C35T and their usage in this thesis are introduced and explained in the article. Here the analog switch is still used to implement monitoring and controlling.DSP is adopted in this design as the controller and C language is used for programming. After the course used C language to develop the project and the project structure is introduced, the arrangement of the software programming of this thesis is analyzed. Main discussion includes the system initialization and the arrangement of interrupt handling. At the last the general flow charts of the system program and the interrupt-processing program resulted from the motor are illustrated.At the end is the summation of the study on this thesis and the analysis on its theoretical and practical contribution in making the system a product; meanwhile, for the purpose of meeting the market requirements better, some fairly valuable proposals for the work of the next step are given according to the experience of study.
