In this thesis, appointing to the maintenance training problems, the author mainly studies the three-dimensional scene simulation modeling methods of the TV tracking system in radar according to the design requirements of VMTS. After analyzing the function of several modeling tools, the author chooses GL Studio as modeling tool of TV monitor and MultiGen as modeling tool of a wide war field. After that, these two methods are combined and scene simulation model of the TV tracking system for virtual maintenance training is built using OpenGL under VC. In order to realize the identification and tracking of objects in TV monitor, the paper adopts software method, which is applied to the collection, transform and processing of the image through programing. According to the requirements of system performance, the paper analyzes the difference of the edge tracking, centroid tracking and correlation tracking and achieving the identification and tracking of the targets using these methods. At the same time, in order to meet with the generality, the TV unit is encapsulated module into a component of the system using COM technique, and the definition of the interactive message structure and the interface among bus and other components is given.
