Face Recognition Algorithm Based On Static Grayscale Images

This paper discussed a algorithm which can automatically recognize the human face. This system combines image processing technology and pattern recognition technology. We use PCA algorithm to select features from human face.and realize the fast decision to the human face. We use sharping processing, binary processing, smoothing processing to separate the face from the background, and then we use Integration projection to realizes the precise location of the face.In this algorithm, the system makes geometry and grey standardize on the images located, then extracts the features base on the KL transformation, At last matches them with the feature samples in sample library and output the most suitable image.
