Nowadays, it has become a problem for telecom carriers that though building large scale PSTN needs great amount of investment, the income of service provided is still not high, and the output input ratios is low, compared with fellow-traders in developed countries. At the same time, fast-developing market demands have great potential. "How to exploit it?" has become a headache for telecom carriers. At present, opening IN service to raise the utilization ratio of the network will be a good alternative for telecom carriers.With the rapid and continuous development of IN service, the bottleneck of the whole system is becoming more and more prominent, thus causing many problems, such as the instable operation of the whole system, the hindrance of the service development, the low quality of the PSTN and the safety threat of the net. To solve these problems causing by insufficient estimation in intensity of traffic in the early days, the centralized IN equipment is put into use. For example, the SCP is used compositely to compensate for the fluctuant service among different IN service. But such compensation brings the more serious problem in bottleneck. High traffic intensity will cause large amount of disconnect of call, and even worse stop the service. Moreover, because of the short of SSP equipments and the sudden outburst of IN traffic, SSP shows to be another bottleneck of the whole system at present. Because of the existence of the bottleneck above mentioned, the IN system is unfit for the needs in high intensity and outburst of traffic. The article probes into the methods of the improvement and the control for high intensity of traffic in E-Cube Switching System FSR216.3 while SSP and remote office are overloaded (Include SCP and terminated office connecting to E-Cube).The basic designs of IN is to change the traditional network and reassign functions among network units. The switching part and the service part which is separated from the switching system is functioned by different network units to buildup a great deal of service with limited components. While adding new service, the IN is functioned by change point of SSP and the service logic of SCP instead of the improving of terminating offices and switchers. To meet the requirements of inter-network communication, E-Cube FSR216.3 provides the function of SSP. The article will concentrate on the implementation of detect point in E-Cube system according to the features of IN checkpoint and E-Cube system structure.
