| Digital Library is a new research field that not only copes with the large quantity of data, but also needs the advanced World Wide Web technique. With the quick development of Internet and multimedia technology, Digital Library is becoming more and more popular and the investigators in our country and those overseas are doing all kinds of researching work on it.This paper designs new data structures in the parallel computer. Based on these structures, new query and maintenance algorithms are designed. All these algorithms are running on parallel processor environment. It is out of any question that the efficient query algorithm needs appropriate index structure. Therefore, this paper designs invert index, structure index, RANK index according to the query requirement. In order to meet the need of maintenance, invert link and forward index are used. The experimental results show that the parallel method has a good performance. |
