It is a pop subject in the domain of computer graphics for modeling and simulation in virtual environment. It is also a important technology to our "Modeling research and simulation reality of broken-obstacle armored car and virtual environment" .On the other hand.it is meeting the needs of politics,military,culture and amusement. So this thesis is representative and practical value.In this paper,I made a deep discussion on the methods of geometry modeling for terrain and virtual objects and kinematics simulation technology in virtual environment. After that,I made a deeper research on algorithm and model transform.The main contents of this paper include:1. the geometry modeling and rendering with 3D modeling software 3DS MAX.2. the terrain modeling and rendering with 3D terrain software Bryce.3. the method of transform among several kinds of 3D data format and a deeper analyse on 3DS file format.4. graphic programme method using OpenGL function Library under VC and realizing the control of movement.5. qualitative analysis and quantitative research on collision detection and terrain following in virtual environment.At the end of this paper,I analysed the researching achievement,presented some shortcomings and pointed out further research direction. |
