After the entry of china into WTO, china doesn't promise to open it's mass media market. But from a long梩erm point of view, according to WTO principles overseas mass media will go into Chinese market by all kinds of ways.At that time, it's no doubt that Chinese mass media will face a keen competition without precedent in history. This paper analyses the future situation and the effective measures of Chinese mass media.A Global competition aims at Chinese market.Chinese mass media has great market potentialities and large profit space. Owing to the earnest seeking for the commercial benefits,overseas large mass media has already quicken their steps into Chinese market.In thenear future, these overseas large mass media must be the most forceful opponents for Chinese media.B Effective measures of Chinese mass media.To accept the challenge, Chinese mass media should be bold in making innovations and opening seize the opportunity to step up it's development. This paper makes an analysis of Chinese mass media's measures from three respects . Finally, the paper points out that Chinese mass media has a prudent but bright future.
