| This article is primarily written to introduce the procedure of GSM performance manegment report software. This software is programmed by Visual Basic,calling SQL language,using ADO control to visit remote ORACLE database,using MSFLEXGRID conntrol to format the query result, calling EXCEL object to form varous EXCEL reports.This software runs under win98/2000 or WIN NT, can be installed into the computers of the LAN.After configing the ODBC data source we can visit the remote database, so we can share the resources by this way and achieve no-paper working . This lets down the work amount and improves work efficiency .The first charpter deals with the background of software development.The second charpter deals with GSM PLMN, the structure of NMS/2000 system and database, how to query Key Performance Indices(KPI) from Oracle databas .The third charpter deals with how to visit Oracle database through ODBC and VB programming. The forth charpter deals with software development. The fifth charpter deals with software programming.The sixth charpter deals with software setup and usage. The last charter gives a conclusion and a proposal. |
