In this paper, the conformation and management of the Wholly-Digital Language Learning System is described, and the application study of the TCP/IP protocol in this net is also discussed. Some key technology is mentioned, and a series of effective solutions are also given. The kernel of the system is based on AT bus flat panel and network technology controlled by DSP, which surpass the bottleneck of the traditional language learning classroom and bring a new digital net era to language teaching lab.In the content, correlative technologies of net building, data processing, speech compressing in the Digital Language Learning System are described in detail, and the application of TCP/IP in the DSP network is studied exploringly. The direct programming to network card with DSP is the basement to achieve the ethernet network based on DSP. By studying the direct operation and accessing used DSP to the audio card, the solution of the speech data sampling and playback is given. With the achievement of DMA control technology based on DSP, the problem of enormous data steam and full duplex with DSP is solved. The speech quality is improved effectively with the speech noise reduction. The utilization of limited bandwith is optimized with speech compressing. In the chapter of the application study of TCP/IP protocol in the DSP network, the IP address problem in the DSP port is solved , and the communication between DSP and the PC with UDP protocol is achieved, so seamless connection between language teaching network and internet is explored originally. At the end of this paper, constructive schemes of the system future development and reference book are provided.
