| A general trend to Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM) is multiple functionality and digitalization. Atomic Force / Photon Scanning Tunneling Microscope (AF/ PSTM) is such a SPM that combines the advantages of both Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and Photon Scanning Tunneling Microscope(PSTM). with AF/PSTM we can get two AFM images (topography and phase image) and two PSTM images ( transmisitivity and refractive index image ) of sample in once scanning.This paper elaborates the principles and systematic structure of the AFM and PSTM, and the principles and method for separating image are also introduced. Also, the principles , host-targe structure and software of the AF/PSTM are particularly expounded. Digital signal processor(DSP) is used in the AF/PSTM instrument to control real-timely the target system, and using DSP to separate image is also studied. This paper present the application of DSP in the AF/PSTM instrument. |
