Recently, some experiments and theoretical researches showed that there were anomalous propagation of electromagnetic wave in free space and waveguide in some case ,and those phenomena is in conflict with classical theories.Inl993,Using a two-photon interferometer, American Professor Chiao and his colleagues measured the time delay for single photon to tunnel cross a barrier consisting of a 1-urn-thick ID photonic band-gap material, then they gained the resultthat the photon tunnels across the barrier by speed of (1.7+0.2)c . In 1992, A.Endersand G.Nimtz researched the propagation of microwave signal through several different cutoff waveguides with HP8510B network analyzer(NA) system and HP70820 transition analyzer(TA) system .Since 1990s, Emig, Martin and Landauer have been investigating the propagation of electromagnetic pulse through a waveguide with piecewise different dielectric constants. In this paper, first ,1 made a study of the distribution of electromagnetic field , energy, power, reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient in waveguide with piecewise different dielectric constants .Then, I simulated the behavior of propagation of AM signal and Gauss pulse signal through the waveguide by MAGIC code, and gave the plots of electromagnetic field, energy, Ponyting vector and their spectrums at different time and different position.
