So, hybrid coding who can reduce the bit-rate of speech without notablly degrading its perceptual quality is used widely.The best way to speech coding in mobile communication is hybrid coding. Since the theory and the realization algorithm of the LPC filter are mature, the key of the improvement of speech coding algorithm is to improve the excitation. Therefore, this article just focuses on pitch analysis , introducing the respective pitch searching methods of different coding algorithm such as LPC, MPLPC and CELPC. At the same time, it pays much attention to analysize the application of AMR.
