Microscopic Image Processing And Research

With the fast development of information technology, microscopic structure has become the key-researching problem all around the world. In this paper, we keep our eyes on the microscopic digital images obtained by the digital microscope.In this paper, we first discuss the development of the microscope and analysis the character of the digital microscopic image. Secondly, we discuss some basic theory of the image pretreatment and analysis some of the new outcome in the area of the image pretreatment. Thirdly, we give the fundamental theory of the edge detecting and analysis the advantage of the new theory of the edge detecting. In the forth and the fifth parts, we give the theory and the algorithm of geometric primitive extraction and detecting the dominant points, and compare the difference of these algorithms. Then we get the core algorithm of detecting the quality of the fiber. Finally, we surmise all the theory and write a set of software for image processing and detecting the diameter of the fiber.All in all, we discuss the technique of microscopic image processing in the round and design the whole system of the digital microscope.
