It goes without saying that innovation is playing a vital role in the design, and more responsible for the popularity of products in the market, especially in the pattern CAD/CAM domain. So, more and more researches have focused on how to design and manufacture patterns better, Intensifying the function of innovative pattern design has become the urgent requirement of the new generation of printing pattern CAD/CAM systems.So we begin the research work of new generation of printing pattern CAD/CAM system, which is a sub_project of High Technology Product Developing System Orienting Regional Economic Development which is an important project of National Planning Committee.The detail content of this thesis is as following:At first, we look back on the history of pattern CAD/CAM system's development in this paper. On the base of deep analysis of some main problems in the field of pattern CAD/CAM technology oriented for textile, we put forward key difficulties for pattern CAD/CAM system for creative pattern designing, which needed to be solve urgently at present.In this paper, we have deep research on key technology of printing pattern CAD/CAM system oriented to creative pattern designing on the base of implement of new generation printing CAD/CAM systemę”¾OP. We bring forward and implement new arithmetic for creating craftwork pattern special to textile, such as yunwen and piesi besides some CAD functions in common pattern CAD/CAM system.The object, the new general printing pattern CAD/CAM system dealing with, is still bitmap. We adopt new data models?image layers +list of bitmap object" in the new system, and then strengthen the image layers manage functions; we also strengthen all kinds of edit tools functions, which support creation of pattern, and implement arithmetic of many classic edit tools; in order to improve system efficiency, we adopt some optimized arithmetic, such as combined image, virtual image structures etc; in addition, we begin to research on effect simulation of pattern printing on different materials, such as cotton cloth, silk.At last, we summarize the whole content of this paper, and then prospect the future work inthis field.
