In this paper, the characteristic of piezoelectric material is researched. The structure, theory, and model of the flexible system with piezoelectric material are studied. By using C++ Builder software, a set of control system used to suppress the vibration of two cantilevered beams with distributed piezoelectric materials is established. In this intelligent control system, the vibrational mode is identified utilizing FFT Convert, and the open behavior of the cantilevered beam is presented. Several control methods are designed and simulated. It is verified by experiment that the vibration of two smart beams are inhibited successfully by implementing the novel control strategy.
