Web-based Network Management Technology And Realization

This paper first analyses the development status quo and tendency of network management technology and the deficiency of current network management system. Then based on the thorough discussion of Web-based network management primary model, this paper from two aspects analyses and discusses the network management model WebNMS in which Web, CORBA and mobile agent technology are inosculated together. On the one hand, this paper implements the integration of Web and CORBA technology in the domain of network management, which fully utilizes the distribution speciality of CORBA to solve the disadvantages of traditional network management architecture in the aspects such as extensibility, scalability. On the other hand, this paper achieves the flexible distribution of management tasks by the introduction of mobile agent techonology to the network management based on Web, which can well make use of the calculation resources in the network and can also offset the deficiency of CORBA in time-liness. This paper discusses remote control technology in network management system and presents in detail the design and implementation of remote control function based on WebNMS model in Nanjing International Airport management information system.
