Visual Surveillance Information Systems And Key Technologies

Video Monitoring Information System(VMIS) is not only an important domain of modem Information Technology but also a research hotspot of communication and information science. In this paper, we discuss the scheme and the key technique of the intelliqent inteqfatedservice VMIS.At the beginning of the paper, we devise a scheme of the VMIS ,which ~ divided into three subsystems information collection, information procession and information remote service. Based on the scheme, we discuss some key techniques of VMIS. Firstly , we research the algorithm of the image compression . We put forward a new compression algorithm delamination compression which is different from other compression algorithm. The delamination compression algorithm discerns different application video objects and encodes the video objects separately. With the method of delamination compression, the rate of compression is highly promoted in the test. Secondly, We design a Multimedia Database. According to the application of the VM[S, a simplified Multimedia Database scheme is proposed. In the Multimedia Database, we can query multimedia data with the method of content indexing. Finally, we propose a remote service scheme of the multimedia remote service subsystem.
