The Satellite Channel Dynamic Backup System (SCDBS) of China Education and Research Network (CERNET) is a set of projects that is designed to guarantee the fluent communication of CERNET backbone, to improve the reliability of the communication channel and reduce the cost of backbone. The Main Station System of SCDBS is the most important part of the system. It is the key of system functions.At first, the details of the System design of Main Station System is discussed in this article, including the system functions, system architecture, the policy of assign channel, the scheme of communication, the software and the hardware. Then the correlative protocols and technology, such as the protocols of the satellite channel dynamic backup, Red Hat Linux operating system, BSD Socket programming, multiport serial board programming, MySQL database, PHP dynamic Web homepage are presented. The implementation of the Main Station System, the configuration of system environment, important data structure, main communication packet, the function modules of software system and the dynamic Web homepage system are realized. At last, the hardware and software of the Main Station System are tested, the results are given and the conclusions are drawn. |
